UP CM Fellowship Program 2023: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has launched the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program 2023 for candidates having undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. degrees in Uttar Pradesh. Under this, researchers will be recruited in various departments in the state, will conduct research in different departments, and on the basis of their data, new developments will be done in the state.
Through the Cm fellowship program 2023, 100 researchers will be recruited in 100 aspirational development blocks of Uttar Pradesh and development will be done in the state by issuing schemes based on their research. UP CM Fellowship Scheme 2023- Dates
Online applications for the Cm fellowship program 2023 Hindi started in 2023 and the last date of application for this scheme has been fixed as August 2023.
Age Range
The maximum age limit of the candidates applying for the Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme 2023 has been fixed at 40 years.
CM Fellowship UP eligibility
For a Cm fellowship up Hindi, the candidate should have the following qualification-
- Candidate must have a graduation or higher degree with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
- The candidate should have knowledge of computer and IT.
- The candidate should have knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari) language.
- The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Responsibilities / Tasks
The work of the selected researcher will be to evaluate the schemes issued by the State Government or the Central Government in the aspirational development blocks together with the Deputy District Magistrate and the Development Block Officer and present the data of the challenges faced in the plans, survey, study, a compilation of primary data and other work. Researchers will have to work in the following departments-
Tourism, cultural heritage.
AI, Biotech, ML, Data Governance Released Research Areas: Banking, Finance and Revenue.
Agriculture, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj.
Forest, environment, and climate.
public policy, education, health, sanitation, nutrition, and skills; Department of Energy and Renewable Energy and others.
Pay Scale and Other Benefits
Researchers will be given the benefit of the following facilities-
30,000/- per month will be given to the candidate as salary.
10,000/- will be given to the candidate as expenses for traveling in the area.
The researchers will be given Rs 15,000/- for the purchase of tablets from the state government.
The selected research scholar will probably also be provided with a residential facility.
UP CM Fellowship Yojana- Selection process
The researcher will be selected on the basis of the following steps-
It will be mandatory for the candidate to upload the statement of purpose in 500 words.
Screening of candidates will be done after the constitution of a committee of senior officers and subject experts.
The screening will be 50 marks in total.
Screening will be followed by Personal Interview of 25 marks.
